1. What we collect

2. What we do not collect
We do not collect or store card numbers, UPI PINs, CVVs, bank passwords or any other payment credentials. UPI payments are completed inside your own UPI app. Where a payment gateway is used, card and UPI details are handled by that gateway and never reach us.
3. Why we use it
- To perform the weighment and issue the ticket you asked for.
- To take and reconcile payment.
- To send a digital copy of the ticket where you asked for one.
- To keep records required for tax, audit and legal metrology purposes.
- To answer complaints and process refunds.
4. Sharing
We do not sell personal information. We share it only with: the party named on a weighment ticket; our payment provider, to process a payment; our messaging and e-mail providers, to deliver a digital ticket you requested; and any authority where the law requires it.
5. Retention
Weighment records and payment records are kept for as long as tax and audit law requires, and then deleted or anonymised. Camera images are kept only as long as they are needed as evidence of the weighment.
6. Security
Records are held in a password-protected database on systems under our control. Database credentials are encrypted at rest. Access is limited to staff who need it.
7. Your rights
You may ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it where we are not required by law to keep it. Write to sssweighbridge@gmail.com and we will respond within 30 days.
8. Cookies
This website sets no cookies and runs no third-party analytics or advertising scripts.
