Why the machines matter

Most software stops at the screen. The work that costs businesses money is usually at the edges — the reading nobody trusts, the photo nobody kept, the printer that jams, the manager who finds out the next morning.

We build at those edges. A weight that comes off the indicator instead of a keyboard. A camera you already own, capturing the vehicle against the record. A ticket that carries proof it was really issued. An owner told as it happens rather than sent a report on Monday. None of that is exotic — it is just work most software shops leave to somebody else, and it is the half that decides whether a system gets used.

What we build

Six things, all of them in production in the system described below.

Desktop software for the counter

Windows applications on PostgreSQL for people who are not computer users — large targets, on-screen keypads, Tamil and English. Forms, fields and printed layouts that an owner reconfigures without calling a developer.

Android apps

Phone apps that do real work rather than show dashboards — including one that operates the desktop software remotely, paired by scanning a QR, with no screen-sharing tool in between.

Machines and instruments

Weight indicators over serial. IP cameras over RTSP, found again by themselves when the router changes their address. Printers driven to the page size the driver can genuinely feed, rather than the one the template asked for.

Sensors and small hardware

ESP32 firmware with time-of-flight and motion sensing — a cash drawer that reports being opened, running for weeks on a battery and updating itself over the air.

WhatsApp and Telegram automation

Bots that answer customers, deliver documents, verify a printed slip by its QR, and put an approve-or-reject decision in the owner's hand wherever they are.

Servers and hosting

APIs, live connections between phone and counter, a subdomain and certificate per customer, and monitoring that tells us a site is down before the customer does.

The proof, in one system

We would rather show one thing that runs than list ten that might.

Our weighbridge in Tiruvallur is billed by software we wrote. It reads the weight off the indicator, captures the vehicle on cameras that were already on the platform, prints a ticket carrying a QR the customer can scan to see the same weighment we hold, tells the owner on Telegram the moment a bill is raised, and can be operated from a phone when nobody is at the counter. Over 6,500 tickets have come off it on an ordinary desktop printer.

How a build works

  1. You tell us the problem. Not the solution — the thing that costs you money or time now. A message on WhatsApp is enough to start.
  2. We come and look. For anything touching machines this is not optional. What the equipment is, what it speaks and what condition it is in decides most of the cost, and no one can tell that from a phone call.
  3. A written quotation. Scope, price, timeline and what support covers, in writing, before any money changes hands.
  4. Built and installed. Delivered working on your machines, with your staff trained on it, not handed over as a download.
  5. Support afterwards. On the terms set out in the quotation.

Being straight about scope

We are a small shop, and what makes the work above good is that it stays close to things we can go and put our hands on. So: we take on work in Tamil Nadu and neighbouring states, where we can reach the site. We do not take on marketing websites, e-commerce stores or app-store consumer products — there are better places for those. And if something you ask for is outside what we can do well, we will tell you that rather than learn on your budget.
